Karrawatta Anna's Sauvignon Blanc
The Gilbert family made their first wine in 1847 and have continued growing wine grapes ever since. Australia’s premiere wine critic James Halliday recognised Karrawatta as a five-star winery in his 2018 Australian Wine Companion, which acknowledges “outstanding wineries producing wines of very high quality”. Karrawatta's Sauvignon Blanc grapes were harvested by hand from two blocks in the winery's Adelaide Hills vineyard and whole bunch pressed. The 2018 vintage conditions helped to produce excellent flavour development, striking complexity and refreshing acidity.
